Hello! This week was another awesome week! It was nice not having to stress about packing and leaving cause me and elder Balute are both staying! It's been raining like crazy lately so we've been getting soaked all the time! But it hasn't been too hot yet. Some miracles this week: So we got kendo swords last week from one of our English class students and this week he gave us handmade bags for them! They're super awesome! We had the idea to try making a banana chocolate cake and we tried it and it turned out way good!! We went out to eat with our investigator and it was so fun! She's the sweetest old lady and she came to church again! We're probably going to invite her to baptism again soon! Our other investigator has a lot of things she's still unsure about with the church, but we're just trying to get her to pray because that's we're it all starts! If you don't pray then you'll never know what's true! Today there was a miss...

So we got transfer calls today and me and elder Balute are both staying!! Hard to believe that I'm going onto my last transfer! It's crazy how time flies... Also first time being with the same companion for 3 transfers! I'm grateful for this time to keep working hard and helping yatsushiro to grow! So it's rainy season over here and so we've been getting a lot of rain recently! It's been pretty crazy but fun! Haha I popped my bike tire on our way home Monday night and so we had to walk home which took about an hour. Because it was late at night and we had to leave to go to kumamoto early in the morning, we had no time to fix my bike and all the shops were closed. So a member let us borrow their mamachari! The classic Japanese road bike! Haha I felt like a school kid riding around! I was able to get my bike fixed when we got home from kumamoto so it worked out OK. Also we had exchanges in Kumamoto again and I accidently left our pocket wifi on the bus and so ...

Hello! What a busy week! It hit rainy season and it's been raining like crazy lately! I slipped in some mud last night so that was fun! First on pday we went to minamata and visited some less active members and had dinner with on of the families there! It was a lot of fun! The husband is taking a "break" from church right now and it's sad because he's a returned missionary and everything! We challenged them to do come follow me as a family. Wednesday we had a cooking English class! The students learned how to make different kinds of pancakes following an English recipe! It was pretty fun! The pancakes turned out good too even though I made up all the recipes! Haha Thursday we had exchanges in Kumamoto and I had raw horse meat for the first time! It was way delicious! Friday we had a lesson with one of our investigators and we had a way good lesson! However she doesn't feel ready to pray yet... It's nice because we have plenty of people to teach, but ...

Hello! Another way busy week!! Some highlights : We had a water balloon and sparkler party at a less actives house and our investigator! Way fun! We also made a Pikachu lemon cake for it haha! So one of our investigators wasn't really progressing because she still didn't really understand the importance of reading the book of Mormon and praying and also how to apply the gospel to herself. We also were having a hard time figuring out her needs. So we were praying and thinking about how we can get her over that and also find out what she really needs so we could apply the Gospel to her when out of nowhere after English class on Wednesday she starts asking some questions that have been troubling her and we were able to find out what she really wanted in life. She was also able to then realize the importance of reading the Book of Mormon and finding out for herself if it's true and if it will truly make her happy. Hello! This week we had zone conference and it was so good! I also saw Elder Takaku from the good old Hiroshima days and it was so good seeing him! This week we were able to teach a few of our investigators and the lessons are getting a lot smoother and better! We had one come to church and she told me after that she needs to just accept God's teachings more willingly! We also taught her prayer and the first time she prayed it was so perfect! Almost like a long time member! It's so cool to see people growing closer to God and growing spiritually! Our other investigators it's been hard to meet and they don't really keep commitments so they aren't progressing much. I definitely feel like we teach a lot though which has not always been the case on my mission! We also teach a lot of less actives. It's frustrating when they don't progress as much or as fast as you want them too, but we just gotta keep trying! We were able to contact this one less active lady we...

This week was super busy!! So this week we had a ton of lessons with less actives and investigators and also had less actives joint with our lessons with investigators and we've been seeing tons of miracles! Some miracles this week: first off, we had 4 less actives at church this week!! So on Monday night we had only a little bit of time left at night so we went over to this less actives house that is close to the apartment. So usually we aren't able to meet her cause she never answers the door and when we do meet her she's always busy. However this time she was in her car and we were able to talk and we asked if we could help with anything and she said she actually wanted help clearing her yard! So we were like yes, let us help you! Haha and so we spent literally from morning until night Wednesday and Saturday clearing up her yard! It was literally a jungle and vines were everywhere! Another awesome week! We went out to eat with an investigator today and that was so fun! She kinda got stuck on the book of Mormon about the part where Nephi kills Laban so she hasn't been reading, but she said she'd start reading again so that's a huge miracle! This week I have been utilizing my newfound baking talents and making cakes with people and for people! It's been way awesome to see people just get so happy when we give them a cake haha! One of our investigators started crying when we gave her some lemon cake! So if you want to make someone happy today just make them a cake! Haha One awesome thing that happened this week : so one of our investigators has a problem where her mouth hurts a lot and the doctors can't really help her so she just feels pain all the time.
