Hello! Well one transfer down and a couple more to go! It's crazy how fast time flies... So transfer calls came today and I'm staying here In Yatsushiro with Elder Balute! Looking forward to another awesome transfer! This week was full of miracles! I started focusing more on the Book of Mormon and was able to hand out more this week than I did my whole time in Hiroshima! We had a Tacos Night in Kumamoto when we were on exchanges and it was so nice eating Mexican for the first time in forever! Haha I was also able to talk to a lot of people and got one of the college students there to come play basketball with us at 6:30 in the morning at the church! At the end we were able to give her a book of Mormon and challenge her to read it! On Wednesday we met with a Potential investigator and ate McDonald's with him. Hello! This week was so awesome!! Some cool miracles: We visited these former investigators that Elder Barlow told me to try visiting and it was so awesome! They are such a nice young family with a lot of potential! They remembered elder Barlow and a lot of what they were taught before! We were able to exchange contact information and we ended up going to a Brazilian jazz concert with the father! I've never seen so many Japanese hippies in one place.. Or a Japanese hippie in general but the concert hall was full of them! Haha way interesting experience.. I had exchanges with the zone leaders this week and I got to dendo with elder Murata! He was one of the district leaders in Hiroshima when I was zone leader so it was fun working with him again! I learned a ton from him and we had a lot of fun! We didn't have bikes so we walked everywhere and we made a goal to make 15 people smile while walking and we realized that just smiling and saying hi wasn't enough to make so...

What a week! So first off we had exchanges with the Kumamoto elders and it was way fun working with them! We went to institute and I was able to meet a lot of awesome members! The next day we had interviews with President! Biggest thing that happened this week is that we went to a festival with some potential investigators and less actives! It was so much fun and there were so many cool presentations! So it's like a 3 day march where people walk around the city for 3 days haha. We also were able to run into so many people that we haven't been able to meet for awhile there! We were also able to talk to a lot of people at the event about who we are and what we do! Hopefully get some new people from it! So this week one of our investigators grandmother died so we weren't able to meet, but we were able to see them at the event and set up another appointment! Hello from the rice fields of Yatsushiro! This last week was way good! It was Golden Week here in Japan, which means that everyone has work and school off for a week!  So this week We visited an investigator with a member and they hit it off way good! The members here are so great at fellowshipping! Then that investigator came to church again this week! She is so prepared! We are going to try to actually teach the lessons more periodically and get her baptized! One fun thing we did this week is we went to a high school band/choir concert! So we were housing and we met this high school girl and I asked her if she did any school clubs. she said she was in the band and so I asked if she had any concerts coming up and she said she did and invited us to her concert! So we went and it was so fun! We were able to talk to some people we sat next to and invite them to eikaiwa! Also one cool thing is that we basically have our own personal baker! Happy Easter everyone! No one really celebrates Easter here, but I still love Easter and the special spirit it brings of renewal and hope! So leaving Hiroshima and coming to Yatsushiro was tough. Maybe tougher than leaving Okinawa. I really grew to love Hiroshima and the city. Saying goodbye was really hard. Yatsushiro is very very rural and not a lot of people. The branch is also very small, about 10 people I'd say. So it's been a big adjustment these last few days. However I got to Skype in for Owen's baptism! That was a special moment and I'm so grateful for the technology that we have. It was a special meeting and you could feel the spirit so strong! Everyone is Hikari Ward was waiting for this day to come for a long time! I'm glad I got to be a part of it. We had stake conference this Sunday and I got to meet a lot of members in the stake. Kumamoto stake definitely has a different feel than Hiroshima. I'm excited to see some miracles here! My new companion ...

Right when you feel at home and love the people the most, is when you suddenly get transferred!!! I have to admit I am pretty bummed. But excited for what the Lord has in store for me next! So me and Elder Kimura are both transferring out! I'll be heading to Kumamoto zone, yatsushiro area. It was one of my past companions previous areas and I heard a lot about it. One of the most rural areas in the mission! So out of the city, back to Rice fields and a tiny branch! It's gonna be a hard adjustment because I really grew to love this place and the people. My next companion is a new missionary just 1 transfer old in the field. Never met him but I heard he's from the Philippines and his name is Elder Balut This last week in Hiroshima has been one of the best. OWEN IS GETTING BAPTIZED! Hello! This week was way awesome! We saw a ton of miracles! So probably the biggest miracle was that we visited this former investigator in our area book and invited her to church, and she actually came!! I was totally not expecting her to come cause she had never come before, and when I invited her she was kind of hesitant and said that if she could go she would. But miracles happen! She ended up having a WAY good time and said she wanted to come again! This branch is tiny, but they are very good at including people! Also we visited this less active member on Saturday and invited him to church and he came! It's cool seeing how just inviting people can bring results. The most important thing is the invitation! Another awesome miracle is we went to a high school sports festival! It was so much fun!!
