No place I'd rather be

What an awesome week! Kinda busy with transfers going on and everything, but still got a lot done!

One of the girls in a part member family that all have the missionaries have been focusing on and the sister missionaries have been teaching, got baptized!! It was such a special baptismal service. The spirit was so strong, her family that is not active also came and we were able to build a way good relationship with them! I also was reminded of Sachiko's baptism and the special spirit that was there. It's so amazing being able to be a part of such a special event in someone's life. There's no place I'd rather be and nothing else I'd rather be doing. I know that this is God's work and he is mindful of His children.

Another cool thing that happened is that we had a random fireside with the Asia north area presidency and the general relief society and primary presidency. Way cool meeting general officers from church headquarters! I'm not sure why they came, but it was a way cool experience hearing what they had to say on how we could improve in ministering to others.

Today we were able to go out to eat with the Chinese lady that our ward mission leader referred us to last week! She's way nice and she's way busy so she can't meet often, but she agreed to listen to our message over video chat or phone call.

I've also started waking up at 5:30am to go running with an eikaiwa student, she knows a lot about the church already and could possibly be baptized someday!

Those are all the highlights I think...

See you next week!

Love
Elder Lim
