Third Times a Charm

Hey!

So we got Transfer calls and I'm training again! Third times a charm haha hopefully this one goes well and I'm able to actually train for the whole two transfers! I'm killing one companion and bringing a new one to life!

This last week was one of the better weeks we've had! So we started teaching this 11 year old boy who's mom is a member and has always brought him to church, but his dad is a little against him getting baptized so he hasn't yet. However if he talks to his dad about it and asks for permission himself, then the dad said he would let him. So we're trying to build his testimony so he has the courage to ask his dad. We had a way good lesson and he committed to asking his dad for permission this Saturday! If all goes well then he can get baptized pretty quickly I think! He has such a pure heart and it's such an awesome experience getting to teach him.

We also taught this recent convert a lesson on missionary work and his parents don't even know he's a member and so we challenged him to talk a little bit about church to his family and friends and he committed to it. It's fun challenging other members to do missionary work cause there's probably nothing more that can build your testimony than sharing it!

I'm starting to feel more at home here in Hiroshima, and I've started to make a lot more relationships with people. It's such a privilege and blessing to be serving here with such amazing people.

Love
Elder Lim
