Setsubun

Hello!

This week was one of the busier ones! I haven't had time to train my new missionary! Haha
So Tuesday we had MLC in Fukuoka which was pretty fun. I got to ride a Shinkansen for the first time! That was fun. Anyways I Learned a lot about how we can be more effective in the work. Then Zone conference the next day and preparing for that was way crazy. We're focusing a lot on focusing on our goals and planning effectively. Really got us pumped up. Then we had exchanges with the Hatsukaichi Elders on Friday. They are doing some new and revolutionary stuff in the ward and they really got me thinking about my area and how I need to plan more for it if I want it to succeed. So me and Elder Takaku made a sideshow for the members to teach them more about their role as missionaries and how we need their help. We only showed the bishop so far. He thinks it's good, but we'll see if they want us to actually present it to the ward next Sunday.

Today was one of the Sister's birthday and so we rented out a gymnasium and played sports! Super fun.

Sunday was a holiday and we threw soybeans at demons haha! I'm not sure what the meaning is but I remember in Japanese class freshman year doing the same thing. Someone wears a demon mask and you throw beans at them! We also had a meal with at the bishops house and it was way delicious!

Miracle of the week! So the sisters from Yanai in Yamaguchi zone were waiting for us to grab the church key the night before zone conference and so they Streeted someone in front of the church and they talked to this American guy who teaches yoga in the building right next to the church! He said he would go to church if we came to his yoga class. So right after zone conference we went to do yoga with the Yanai sisters! Haha it was way fun and interesting. So he actually came to church Sunday! He said it was a good experience. Not sure if he's super interested though, but he's way nice! He also doesn't really know Japanese so...

That's it for this week!

Love
Elder Lim
