Kinzin!!

Hey!

This week was another week full of teaching!! I don't think I've ever taught more in my mission before. Just running from appointment to appointment! It's been truly a blessing. We had a lesson with Kota! The kid from eikaiwa! He only had like 5 minutes after Eikaiwa (English Class) and so I just busted out a super fast and simple Restoration haha didn't even talk about the Book of Mormon. But after when we were leaving he started asking questions about it and I was like uh, "Do you want one?" and he's like yeah! Haha way awesome. He also said he wants to go to BYU for college! Way Kinzin!! We also taught one of the most spiritual lessons to the Lady we found housing last week. We got to baptism and we're just able to testify so strongly about it and how it's just the start of the path to following God.

This week we met President Mack! The new mission president! He is so much different from president Egan so far haha! Way more chill, and his wife has got that super excited new missionary vibe to her! I got a very powerful confirmation by the spirit when I first saw them that they were called of God to be here. They taught us a lot about self conversion and change within ourselves before trying to teach others. Way powerful and I learned a lot. I realized that being a missionary doesn't change you, but rather doing missionary things does. Not only that, just normal things we are commanded to do like daily scripture study and sincere prayer. That's why obedience is so important.

We also had a training on missionary work and family history and how they're related. Also how we can use it as a tool in missionary work. Something I'm still not good at, but is a really useful tool. We had Brother Rockwood from the MTC Skype in, way nostalgic haha! Anyways, it's interesting how easy it is to share the gospel through family history! I challenge everyone to try it out and tell me some experiences you had!

Things are going good and it's heating up down here!! Gotta love it!! Love you all!

Elder Lim

Oh yeah last week we went to Shuri Castle and it was so cool! Okinawa used to be a part of China and had it's own king. Way sick
