Elder Antonio Lim

Hello! This week was a busy one! We spend half of it in Kumamoto for exchanges and zone conference! We also had district pday and the Welker couple made hamburgers and root bear floats! It was way good! I got to go on exchanges with Elder Akuta, a brand new missionary and he taught me so much! He has so much fire to find and teach, I got pretty pumped up just being with him. He's got a bright mission ahead of him! One cool miracle we experienced together: we biked really far to try to find a less actives house, but then we got to the area and couldn't find it. It was already lunch time by the time we got there so we were gonna head back home, but I felt like it was a waste to come so far and have nothing happen. So I felt like we should knock on this door and so we did and it was this Nepali girl with way good Japanese! Turns out she's studying the Bible right now and has a lot of interest in church! We were able to teach her the restoration and set a return appointment!

Hello! This week was Elder Balute's birthday so we partied a lot! Haha a lot of less active members we are working with took us out to eat and it was so good! Also a member and our investigator planned a surprise birthday party for him at our English class! They gave us traditional Japanese clothing as presents! Haha it was a lot of fun! Also last Monday a former missionary that served in Yatsushiro 13 years ago came with his family and we had a potluck and they also performed some musical numbers! Not a lot of people came, but we were able to build a good relationship with some less actives that came and also a less actives son who is not a member! I introduced Pathway program to him cause he's trying to get into college and he seemed interested! Hopefully that will someday lead to his conversion! Hello! This week was another awesome week! It was nice not having to stress about packing and leaving cause me and elder Balute are both staying! It's been raining like crazy lately so we've been getting soaked all the time! But it hasn't been too hot yet. Some miracles this week: So we got kendo swords last week from one of our English class students and this week he gave us handmade bags for them! They're super awesome! We had the idea to try making a banana chocolate cake and we tried it and it turned out way good!! We went out to eat with our investigator and it was so fun! She's the sweetest old lady and she came to church again! We're probably going to invite her to baptism again soon! Our other investigator has a lot of things she's still unsure about with the church, but we're just trying to get her to pray because that's we're it all starts! So we got transfer calls today and me and elder Balute are both staying!! Hard to believe that I'm going onto my last transfer! It's crazy how time flies... Also first time being with the same companion for 3 transfers! I'm grateful for this time to keep working hard and helping yatsushiro to grow! So it's rainy season over here and so we've been getting a lot of rain recently! It's been pretty crazy but fun! Haha I popped my bike tire on our way home Monday night and so we had to walk home which took about an hour. Because it was late at night and we had to leave to go to kumamoto early in the morning, we had no time to fix my bike and all the shops were closed. So a member let us borrow their mamachari! The classic Japanese road bike! Haha I felt like a school kid riding around! I was able to get my bike fixed when we got home from kumamoto so it worked out OK. Also we had exchanges in Kumamoto again and I accidently left our pocket wifi on the bus and so
