Kinzin!!

Hey! This week was another week full of teaching!! I don't think I've ever taught more in my mission before. Just running from appointment to appointment! It's been truly a blessing. We had a lesson with Kota! The kid from eikaiwa! He only had like 5 minutes after Eikaiwa (English Class) and so I just busted out a super fast and simple Restoration haha didn't even talk about the Book of Mormon. But after when we were leaving he started asking questions about it and I was like uh, "Do you want one?" and he's like yeah! Haha way awesome. He also said he wants to go to BYU for college! Way Kinzin!! We also taught one of the most spiritual lessons to the Lady we found housing last week. We got to baptism and we're just able to testify so strongly about it and how it's just the start of the path to following God. This week we met President Mack! The new mission president! He is so much different from president Egan so far haha! Way more

Typhoons and New Friends

Hey! This week was good! Just figuring out where everything is and getting used to the area! We had some typhoons come and go that weren't too bad. But tomorrow is supposed to be a huge one which I'm excited for haha! My companion is the best, way chill, way hard worker, we're getting a lot done. This week we did a lot of housing and met some way awesome people. One of the coolest things was, we were housing and knocked on this door and the grandma came out and said no to us. However I noticed the young man in the back looked half American so I was like hey are you half? He said yeah! He's from Idaho falls! And he's actually a member! Not only that, he's going on a mission to Nagoya in November! I was like, Bro why haven't you come to church!? Haha he'd been in Japan for a month and never gone to church. So I got him to go to church this week and it was his first time going to church In Japan. Way sick kid. His grandma isn't a member, but we

Hey!! It's been crazy! I got my new companion and he's super awesome! Way hard worker and just way chill. Gonna see a lot of miracles this transfer! I was a little overwhelmed at first, getting into a new area and not knowing anything! But the Lord has been really showing me my weaknesses and humbling me a lot, so it's been good. Not too much going on investigator wise since we're not able to meet anyone without our bikes. Right now there's a typhoon going on so that's been exciting. Procelyting in a typhoon is so fun!! Everyone is home too cause no one wants to go out in a typhoon haha! My new area is way rural so a lot of farms and farmers! Tons of fun! Not sure what else to say, don't have a lot of time either, but I love this work and I know that through relying on Jesus Christ, we can overcome our trials and difficulties! Love Elder Lim

Transfers!

Hey! Transfer calls this week! I'm going to...... Itoman Area!! Same ward, pretty much the same area!! I'm whitewashing the sisters out of their area. Second whitewash in a row haha! That means both me and my companion will be new to the area. But the thing is, I already know the ward members and the Itoman Sister's investigators. So it won't be too hard. My new companion will be Elder Campbell from Pullman Washington! Never met him before, but heard he's good so should be fun. This week was way good! Not as many crazy things happened, but it was still fun. Brother Nagayama got confirmed! The members are doing a way good job fellowshipping him too! We also got a way sick referral from a member! Member missionary work is the best! It's the members neighbor, way young nice family. She has been befriending them for months and was like, as soon as I met them, I knew they needed the Gospel! So she finally introduced us and we're e going to have di
