Elder Antonio Lim

Wow, I don't even know where to begin. One of the best weeks of my mission. THE best week! First off, our investigator, NAGAYAMA GOT BAPTIZED!!! I can't put into words the joy and love I feel for this humble man. God has prepared him and blessed me to be a part of his conversion. We honestly did nothing. It's all God and the spirit teaching, and Nagayama acting on it. I'm so grateful and I know that being a member of God's church brings eternal joy. Nagayama has changed so much and grown so much love for the Savior. He is so much happier. The Ward members are also so great. Fellowshipped him right away and got him a ministering brother on the spot. Saturday we actually had a typhoon in the morning, so we had to cancel the baptism and move it to Sunday, at first I was really frustrated, but Sunday turned out great. Hey! This week was full of miracles! I had a very humbling experience! So I was feeling pretty disappointed that all our investigators were gone, and I was pretty faithless. However, as my dad would always say, I got a spiritual "smack upside the head." Wednesday our investigator randomly called and was like hey let's meet! So we met him and he's still golden! He had just had some stuff going on with his phone, that's why we couldn't contact him. And he accidentally slept in Sunday so he didn't come to church. Anyways Saturday he passed his baptismal interview and if all goes well, we're going to see a baptism this Saturday!! I learned a huge lesson on just really trusting God and recognizing his hand in the work, even when it seems that he has abandoned us. Last Pday was so fun! They have so many cool fishes! Hellooooo! This P-Day the whole District is catching a ride up to the aquarium up in North Okinawa, so I'll have pics and stories from that next week! Woke up an hour early this morning to email! This week was full of miracles and trials at the same time. We met with this one guy Elder Barlow Streeted into when he was on splits with another elder. Usually when you get return appointments on the street the appointments don't really go through. However this guy actually showed up and had interest! He said he wants to go to church, but this week he has work. We invited to baptism and he said he would get baptized if he felt it was true! Way excited for this guy! Trial this week was kind of going from 100 to 0. Our two solid investigators that we usually meet regularly, pretty much dropped us.
